Bagong Taon! This is how New Year's eve is celebrated in the Philippines. Lots of fireworks and much noise. The night of the New Year's eve celebration here in my country, the Philippines, is really unique than most countries. Filipinos/Pinoys makes a bang outside. Days before the big day, you will see lots of vendors selling firecrakers and noise makers. This is tradition that is why even though there is a yearly ban on firecrackers due to a number of accidents caused by pyrotechnic devices that have resulted in the loss of limbs, limbs and properties, still a lot of Pinoys perceived that firecrackers will throw away bad spirits.
